Faten Azzam

Faten Azzam is a Senior Information Specialist in Children’s and Young Adults’ Programs at Qatar National Library, with more than 20 years of experience in early childhood education, library services, and reading skills development. She leads the design and delivery of innovative educational and cultural programs that promote reading literacy and life skills among children and their families, while contributing to the development of local and international community and institutional partnerships.

She previously served as Acting Head of the Children’s Library and worked at the Ministry of Education in teaching and educational coordination. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Studies, is the author of The Children’s Library: Between Enjoyment and Learning, and has participated in international professional conferences and specialized initiatives.
