By the end of this introductory information session, participants will have an understanding of what the IELTS (International English Language Testing System) writing tasks consist of and what examiners look for. They will learn about what the band descriptors are and how to apply them to the writing tasks. There will be time for a Q&A during the session, and recommended IELTS preparation materials which are available to Library members and IELTS candidates will be presented.
