Join this casual gathering of knitters and crocheters every Thursday from 9:00 – 11:00 AM to work on projects and share skills in a friendly atmosphere. Participants are welcome to bring their own supplies and projects or borrow the Library’s needles and yarn. All skill levels are welcome, including beginners who are interested in learning. Come show off your artistic skills by drawing one of our historical photos of Qatar, with instruction and guidance from Qatari artist Fahad Almaadheed. The drawing class will begin with an introduction to the Qatar Photographic Collection at the Heritage Library by librarian Maryam Al-Mutawa.

Bookshare is an online database for people with print disabilities. It provides audiobooks, read-along books, DAISY talking books, and braille and large-font books. You can customize your reading experience with ebooks in formats that work according to your needs. This event will help you find resources on Bookshare; the latter part of the program will teach you how to register for membership.
