Abdullah Al-Hawas is a Saudi novelist and cultural leader who serves as the Head of the Library at the King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture (Ithra). He leads a range of knowledge and cultural initiatives aimed at promoting reading and strengthening the role of libraries across the Arab world, including the “Iqra” Competition, the “Iqra” Marathon, and other initiatives dedicated to advancing a culture of reading.
