Alenka Blatnik holds a degree in graphic technology engineering from the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Engineering at the University of Ljubljana. Before joining Qatar National Library (QNL), she worked at the Library Research Centre of the National and University Library of Slovenia, where she focused on library digitization and the development of electronic publications, including EPUB e-books.
At QNL, she contributed to establishing digitization processes and workflows. She currently serves as a Digital Collections Officer in the Digital Curation, Preservation and Access Unit within the Digital Collections Department. Her work includes contributing to digital preservation and web archiving initiatives, as well as supporting the development of operations for Manara – Qatar Research Repository.
