Bariq Raad Allawi serves as Director General of the Iraqi National Library and Archives. He holds a bachelor’s degree in law and has more than 18 years of experience in government service, covering administration, legal affairs, strategic planning, project management, and team leadership.
Before assuming his current position, he held several leadership roles at the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Antiquities. He has also participated in numerous specialized training courses in leadership, negotiation, human resources management, and strategic planning.
He is fluent in Arabic and English and possesses advanced skills in computer applications and project management. He has received numerous letters of appreciation in recognition of his distinguished professional efforts.
