Dr. Arif Shaon is the Head of Digital Curation, Preservation and Access at Qatar National Library, where he leads the strategic and operational efforts to ensure the long-term curation, preservation, and accessibility of the Library’s digital collections.
He previously held key positions at the University of New South Wales Library in Australia and the UK’s Science and Technology Facilities Council. In these roles, he led software development and research initiatives in digital preservation, digital curation, and research data management.
