Dr. Khulud Ali Sahhari is an Assistant Professor and Head of the Information School at Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University. She joined the School in 2015 as a Teaching Assistant and was promoted to Lecturer in 2019 and Assistant Professor in 2024. During her tenure at the University, she has held several academic and administrative positions.
Dr. Sahhari earned her bachelor’s degree in Library and Information Science from the College of Arts at Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University in Saudi Arabia in 2013, graduating with First-Class Honors. In 2018, she obtained a master’s degree in Library and Information Science from Dominican University in the United States. She was awarded a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) by the Information School at the University of Sheffield in 2023.
Dr. Sahhari's research interests include social justice, inclusion and integration, public libraries and their social role in diverse societies, information-seeking behavior, and community studies.
