Dr. Nadia Caidi is a Professor at the Faculty of Information at the University of Toronto, Canada. Her research explores human information behaviur, global mobility and digital diasporas, and information marginalization. She has published extensively in these areas and serves on the editorial boards of several academic journals.
In 2018, Dr. Caidi received the American Library Association’s Cohen/EMIERT Multicultural Award for her article “Diversity by Design,” published in *The Library Quarterly*. She is also co-author of *Humanizing LIS Education and Practice* (Routledge, 2021).
Dr. Caidi served as President of the Canadian Association for Information Science in 2011 and as President of the Association for Information Science and Technology in 2016.
