Dr. Sara Elgabalawy is Head of the Professional Diplomas and Programs Sector at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina. She has more than 19 years of experience in library and information science, professional education, and institutional development.
She leads accredited capacity-building initiatives that support professionals across Egypt and the Arab region. She has also contributed to major library development projects, including the localization of international library standards and knowledge organization tools.
Dr. Elgabalawy holds a PhD in Library and Information Science from Alexandria University and is committed to advancing lifelong learning, innovation, and knowledge sharing through regional and international collaboration.
