Ya’qub is a Digital Curation Librarian at Qatar National Library, with more than seven years of professional experience. During his two years at QNL, he has focused on developing workflows and metadata strategies to support the preservation of Qatar’s digital heritage.
Before joining QNL, he spent five years in academia, where he promoted open science practices. His current work focuses on equipping researchers and staff with the tools and skills required for digital preservation and scholarly communication.
