Farah Sbiti, PhD researcher and faculty member in the Department of Information and Libraries Management – The Lebanese University
A library consultant with 12 years’ experience in the field of technical operations and information literacy of university students, Sbiti is a member of the Arab Federation for Libraries and Information and the Lebanese Library Association.
She held the position of Information Specialist in the Information Center of Al-Hayat newspaper for eight years (Beirut office) and she has been involved in many projects with the British Library, Umm Al-Qura University and the American Ergo Foundation.
Sbiti has published many research papers, and participated in many conferences, symposia and workshops around the world, believing in cooperation, innovation, and a focus on empowering and engaging women in decision-making.
