This paper attempts to provide a model and practical evidence for the contributions that Omani libraries can make as a strategic partner to achieve Oman Vision 2040, a vision based on achieving the most important SDGs of the United Nations 2030. The paper highlights the most important pillars included in the Oman Vision 2040 and provides a practical and comprehensive guideline that libraries can apply to achieve the sustainable Oman Vision in 2040.This study expounds on the opportunities that libraries in the Sultanate of Oman can capitalize to be a partner for the government in achieving sustainable development through the Oman 2040 vision. The paper gives a list of libraries categorized by type and field, as well as a practical guide on how libraries can contribute to achieving sustainable development.
