Corresponding authors who are students, faculty, researchers or staff from any institute of higher education or non-profit research institute within Qatar.

The agreement covers the journals listed here.

Open Access Journals

For journals under Open Access, the publisher will automatically verify whether your article is eligible for the institutional Open Access agreement.

If eligible, you will be notified and may choose to use the institutional funding or another source.

Note: If your institution declines funding, you will be responsible for covering the Article Processing Charge (APC).

After Acceptance

You will receive an email confirming acceptance of your article and outlining the publishing agreement.

If your Open Access funding is approved, you will also receive a confirmation email.

Important: Final funding approval depends on the decision of Qatar National Library administrators / the Open Access team. The existence of an active agreement alone does not guarantee funding eligibility.
