The Library will be closed from Monday to Thursday, 13 – 16 July 2026.

Following the State of Qatar’s announcement of a period of national mourning in honor of the passing of His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, the Father Amir, may Allah rest his soul in eternal peace, Qatar National Library will remain closed from Monday to Thursday, 13 – 16 July 2026. The Library will reopen and resume its regular opening hours on Friday, 17 July 2026.
