The Thanaa Award is given to employees of Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development and its centers to reward and recognize praiseworthy performance. The Qatar National Library, a member of Qatar Foundation, honored three of its dedicated employees for their exemplary performance throughout the last year.
“Thanaa” is an Arabic word which means praise and Dr. Claudia Lux, Project Director of Qatar National Library, awarded certificates of appreciation to Usman Ahmad, Rowena Gerente and Hany Hanafi, praising them for their contributions to the development of Qatar National Library.
