Join us for our virtual English Fiction Book Club meeting. We will discuss The Light Between Oceans, by M. L. Stedman. The novel tells of a World War I veteran and his new wife who face loss and emotional hardship while living on a remote island. Copies of the book will be available at the User Services Desk. You can now visit the library's building directly to borrow one.

Sensory Processing Disorder is a condition that may affect children who have neurodevelopmental disorders such as ADHD and autism, as well as those with learning and processing challenges. If your child struggles with similar issues, join us in this session and learn how to assist your child with sensory integration exercises that can be done at home. The session will be presented by Bassam Adel Hamad, Occupational Therapist at the Qatar Foundation Learning Center.

The idea of the workshop is to transform a soft drink can into a camera that takes vintage photos that reflect the spirit of photography in the 18th century. With this camera, you can experience the early days of photography, learn how cameras work, what they are made of, how they are manufactured and how to capture memorable photos.
