Join this casual gathering of knitters and crocheters every Thursday in the Main Plaza from 9:00 – 11:00 AM to work on projects and share skills in a friendly atmosphere. Participants are welcome to bring their own supplies and projects or borrow the Library’s needles and yarn. All skill levels are welcome, including beginners who are interested in learning. In this month's English Fiction Book Club, we will discuss The Shadow of the Crescent Moon, by Fatima Bhutto. The novel tracks three brothers in a Pakistani tribal town over the course of one fateful day. Copies of the book will be available at the User Services Desk.

In this month's Book Club for the Blind, we'll listen to the journey of Belal Hussain, a young blind man who studied Islam and memorized the Qu'ran despite his disability. To listen to his story, click here.

Come listen to the story of the sahabi Abu Baker Al Sadiq, one of the earliest companions of the Prophet Muhammed (peace be upon him) and father of Aisha, wife of the Prophet.

School librarians and teachers are invited to participate in this workshop to build scientific research skills for students and help them develop their research skills.

Does this sound familiar to you? Are you always trying to teach your child table manners? If the answer is yes, you're invited to this event, where children with learning disabilities will learn table manners through storytelling and sensory activities.

Join us for the Library's Children's Book Club, where will discuss Bait Teen (Muid House), the first book of the Abu Saad family series. Author Dr. Sama Al-Hajri, Director of Katateeb Educational Center, will join us to talk about the book, which tells about the beauty of simple living in the past.

We invite you to this hands-on session where Bestlife Qatar will show you how to start your own blog and become familiar using platforms such as Blogsite, Instagram and YouTube.

Stretch those muscles as high as a tree, and spread your arms as wide as an eagle soaring the sky! We welcome children ages 6 to 10 to join us for this series of friendly stretching sessions with certified instructor Parul Kochak.

This workshop, hosted in partnership with the Bassmet Amal Center for Special Needs, is a fun-filled activity for parents and their children with disabilities. Join us as we make a variety of enjoyable arts and crafts.
