Qatar National Library, as the IFLA MENA Regional Office, invites you to their event, Librarians for Libraries, which aims to develop librarianship skills in the MENA region through virtual programs covering a variety of topics.

Canva is a free-to-use, online graphic design tool. Use it to create social media posts, presentations, posters, videos, logos and more. In this session we will learn the basics of using Canva. We will then work on a project to create a book club poster for Men in the Sun, a novel by Palestinian author Ghassan Kanafani.

In this session, an information specialist will introduce you to the "Keys to Palestine" project, which is a Qatar National Library digital community archive. The project is designed for Palestinian and non-Palestinian authors and content creators in Qatar and abroad who are interested in preserving Palestinian voices, perspectives, and stories.

This interactive session will provide an overview of the IELTS tasks and the special arrangements that can be considered for IELTS candidates with visual, hearing, speaking or learning difficulties. It will also introduce participants to the resources and services available to support them with their IELTS preparation.
