
Please be advised that the Second World Summit for Social Development will take place from November 3–6, 2025 at the Qatar National Convention Centre (QNCC).
During this period, several operational and access adjustments will be implemented across Education City to support the event. Kindly note the following:
Event Timeline
- Flag-Raising Ceremony: November 2, 2025 (QNCC)
- Main Summit: November 3–6, 2025
Access & Traffic (please also see map below)
- Khalifa Avenue will be closed on November 4, 2025.
- Traffic delays are expected between 6:00 a.m.–9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.–ISF-announced timing.
- Gates 2 and Gharafat Al-Rayyan Tunnel will be closed.
- Gates 14 and 15 will be accessible only via Al-Rayyan Road.
- Gate 5 will be reachable via Huwar Road (U-turn required).
Parking
- South Zone parking will remain available, including South East Car Park and Oxygen Park Car Park. You may park in any of these locations and take the tram to the Multaqa Tram Station opposite the Library.
EC Tram Operations
- Normal service will continue in South Campus.
- From November 2–6, QNCC Tram Station (#26) will be closed; trams will proceed directly to Sidra Hospital Station (#27).
Red Zone
- QNCC and surrounding areas will be restricted and controlled by UN/MOI security.
- Entry will require UN-issued accreditation passes.
