Sheikha Sheema Al Thani, Senior Technical Services Specialist, Museum of Islamic Art
Sheikha Sheema Al Thani is a Senior Technical Services Specialist with more than 15 years of experience in cataloging and all areas of technical services. She is a graduate of the Qatar University Libraries Studies Program and is proficient in cataloging in both Arabic and English. Sheema has extensive expertise in LC cataloging and has been instrumental in enhancing the technical services at the Museum of Islamic Art. Her dedication to improving library services and her ability to work seamlessly in multilingual environments make her a valuable asset to the library community.
Eihab Mohammad, Senior Librarian, Museum of Islamic Art
Eihab Mohammad is a senior librarian at the Museum of Islamic Art Library with nearly 27 years of experience. He has worked in all library sections, including public service, rare and manuscript collections, and children's services, where he became a renowned storyteller in Qatar. Eihab holds a BA in library science and higher diplomas in library science and public administration from Omdurman Islamic University. He is known for his excellent teamwork and dedication to training students and teachers from various schools.
Hessa Rashid Al Hajri, Library Coordinator, Museum of Islamic Art Library
Hessa Al Hajri is a dedicated professional with a degree from Qatar University. Since joining the Museum of Islamic Art Library in June 2020 as a Library Coordinator, she has specialized in cataloging children's books in both Arabic and English. Hessa is passionate about learning and is particularly excited about advancements in artificial intelligence and its applications in book cataloging, especially in Arabic. Her enthusiasm for new developments and her commitment to excellence make her a valuable asset to the library team.
