The Heritage Library, in cooperation with the Wijdan Cultural Center, is organizing a virtual lecture entitled Pioneers of Education in the State of Qatar: Highlights on Education Milestones During 1890-1957. 

In this meetup, we will be chatting with Qatari author Eissa Abdullah. We'll discuss his experience as an author in Qatar, his most popular books and his upcoming book release. We will talk about the success of Dar Roza in publishing Qatari authors. 

The world is grappling with an unprecedented public health emergency and the colossal economic and social woes that it brought. At the same time, many nations are battered by growing polarization, bigotry, hate and xenophobia. Uncertainty, complexity and ignorance are making it hard to see the future.

The course will introduce the vast field of traditional architecture in the MENA region through the filter of technical, architectural and spatial solutions that allow inhabitants to respond effectively to sometimes severe climatic constraints on the one hand, and to contemporary needs in matter of comfort on the other.
