The Creative Writing Circle is an opportunity for creative writers to come together and share their work. The group will provide inspiration, feedback and encouragement in a supportive environment. So whatever stage you’re at, come along and get writing! Sessions will be held between 9 – 11 AM on Tuesdays.

We all passionately look forward to the Holy Month of Ramadan, and families prepare their homes for this special time of the year. In this informal gathering, we invite you to share your thoughts and plans for the Holy Month, and to learn from each other about customs and traditions. You are also welcome to explore our Ramadan reading suggestions.

Sensory stories are a great way to support children with special needs. Join us for this specially designed multisensory story program for children with autism spectrum disorder, sensory processing disorder or a developmental disability. Kids will enjoy sensory storytelling and other multisensory activities. The program is presented in collaboration with the Sensory Souk team.

Reading and studying the Qur'an is one of the most important activities during Ramadan. In this lecture and visual presentation, we will explore the history of the written Qur’an from the time of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) up to the print and digital eras. We will discuss issues of the Qur'anic text transmission and Qur'anic writing systems and techniques, including Rasm (orthography), vocalization, scripts, marks and colors.
