A casual gathering of knitters around Qatar at QNL that will give participants a chance to share their skills in knitting together in a friendly atmosphere. Knitting materials will be provided for the event, but participants are free to bring their own materials as well.

QNL's wide range of collections will be introduced to the participants and hands-on activity on how to use the catalog will also be conducted to help users familiarize themselves on how to do their own searching efficiently.

The poster presentation is a highly used communication tool to display and discuss research experience. Qatar National Library is pleased to invite you to a free hands-on training workshop on designing research posters. The workshop will focus on how to design an effective poster, including the poster design process, design elements, and using PowerPoint to create posters.
