Thinking as a mental process is important in developing the abilities of the individual and society. In this workshop, we will learn the characteristics of the processes of thinking and creative and critical thinking. 

Machine learning algorithms are already running in most of our machines: phones, computers and everything that is digital. In this session, Albert Yumol, a data scientist, will introduce participants to the concepts of machine learning and artificial intelligence and how they are applied to projects in object detection, face recognition and smart chatbot systems. After the session, participants will be able to make an algorithm that classifies images in a zoo. 

The Creative Writing Circle for Adults is an opportunity for creative writers to come together and share their work. The group will provide inspiration, feedback and encouragement in a supportive environment. So whatever stage you’re at, come along and get writing.

In collaboration with Qatar Career Development Center, this session will help participants write their CVs for their prospective universities. 

Early childhood is considered the optimal period for developing speech and language skills in children. During this interactive session, we will learn how we can support the development of our children's speech and language skills. Each participant will create an educational toolbox and fill it with simple strategies to support their children's ability to communicate and build their language skills. The session will be presented by speech and language pathologist Ruba Dababat from The Learning Center at Qatar Foundation. 

In this workshop, participants will be introduced to the basics of data science and artificial intelligence, common misconceptions will be debunked, and there will be a live demo of the applications of those technologies. This session will be led by Jude Michael Teves, a professional data scientist who has been involved in creating various projects related to data science and artificial intelligence.
