If you are talented in drawing, we invite you to participate with us in this enjoyable workshop to speak and draw a painting that expresses your goals during the pandemic.

In this workshop, programmer Sultan Al-Bader, a high school student at Qatar Science and Technology Secondary School, will give us an overview of the basics of Java programming. We will also learn about the applications of this programming language in our daily life and its examples, such as apps, websites and more. After attending this workshop, you will be able to build your first basic Java application.

Join us to celebrate Qatar National Sports Day and learn new techniques in art. Using paint on canvas, use your imagination to draw your favorite sport or stadium in Qatar. This is a great opportunity for children ages 8 to 11 to explore their creative side in a fun environment.

The global pandemic has reversed the development we have achieved in the last five decades and has exposed the structural inequalities and challenges communities face across the world. How are we going to develop post-covid and in the age of Anthropocene? Is there a new way forward? We are pleased to host Heriberto Tapia, one of the lead authors of the latest Human Development Report, to discuss the Human Development Report 2020. This event is in partnership with AYCM Qatar, the UN Development Programme and the Swedish Embassy in Qatar.
