“Unravel” is a unique project that combines music and visual art.

In this workshop we will discuss the concept of academic integrity, its standards and its importance in academic research. In addition, the training will introduce students to plagiarism and to provide them with useful techniques on how it can be avoided. 

If you think your little girl might enjoy learning about weaving, the Library’s Little Weavers Club will provide a perfect introduction to weaving for young beginners. These two sessions will introduce participants to the simple technique of finger knitting.

This book discussion is for visually impaired people, based on an audiobook from the Overdrive database. Hayy Ibn Yaqzan is an Arabic-language audiobook that tells the story of a person named Hayy Bin Yaqzan who grew up on an island alone, with the book examining his relationship to the universe and religion. The work also contains many stories and legends, which have philosophical lessons and implications.

Qatar National Library, as the IFLA/PAC Regional Center for Arab Countries and the Middle East, in cooperation with the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik (USEK) in Lebanon, present a series of four webinars on the different aspects of Collection Care.

The author of The Cat I Never Named, Professor Dr. Amra Sabic-El-Rayess will join us to talk about her book, the stunning memoir of a Muslim teen struggling to survive in the midst of the Bosnian genocide-and the stray cat who protected her family through it all.

Renowned international experts in Islamic codicology and manuscript studies will hold monthly talks, addressing scholars and the general audience alike.

Running for three sessions over three weeks, each week we will discuss a different book, offering insights into plots and characters in a fun and relaxed environment.
